The award continues to be given annually to a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse who exemplifies the attributes Sandra exhibited by providing professional, supportive, innovative, holistic care to patients and who is enthusiastic about the specialty practice of Rehabilitation Nursing. The award recipient is nominated by peers, co-workers and physicians. A ceremony was held during National Nurse's Week to honor Ms. Berg.
