PORTLAND, Maine - New England Rehabilitation Hospital presented several awards at their annual Employee Appreciation Day celebration held May 14, 2009. Dr. Elissa Charbonneau of Yarmouth, was presented with the Caregiver of the Year Award. Dr. Charbonneau is Medical Director of New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland. Amy Morse, CEO, stated “Dr. Charbonneau is a role model for her physician colleagues, a leader in her hospital and a reassuring, healing force for her patients.”

The Caregiver of the Year Award is presented annually to a clinician who demonstrates extraordinary commitment to the delivery of care to patients and their families.
